Marylebone Apartment

The project is a renovation of a flat in the heart of Marylebone, London.

The proposed layout aims at maximising the living room area and redistribute the bedrooms.

The fundamental gesture is the demolition of a load bearing wall allowing the living room a double exposition to sunlight and views. Reflecting the client’s needs, the previous kitchen is turned into a study/guest bedroom and the new one efficiently placed by the entrance lobby.

The material palette is composed by soft tones like travertine, oak and raffia in the reception rooms and darker, moody colours, like the quartzite of the shower room and the leather sliding door of the bedroom.
